02. Kitchen

This section provides details about the fixtures, fittings, and appliances in the kitchen that are included in the sale. Here's an explanation for each item listed in the kitchen section of the TA10 form, specifying whether they are typically fitted or free-standing:

Hob The hob refers to the cooking surface, typically where pots and pans are placed for cooking. Hobs can be either fitted, meaning they are integrated into the kitchen counter or stove unit, or they can be free-standing, which means they are separate appliances that can be moved around.
Extractor hood An extractor hood, also known as a range hood or ventilation hood, is a device that is installed above the hob to remove airborne grease, smoke, and odors during cooking. Extractor hoods are typically fitted, meaning they are mounted onto the wall or ceiling above the hob.
Oven/Grill The oven/grill refers to the appliance used for baking, roasting, and grilling food. Ovens can be either fitted, built into the kitchen cabinetry or wall, or they can be free-standing, meaning they are standalone units that can be moved.
Cooker The term "cooker" refers to a combination appliance that includes both an oven and a hob. Cookers can be either fitted, integrated into the kitchen cabinetry or wall, or they can be free-standing, which means they are standalone units.
Microwave Microwaves are kitchen appliances used for heating and cooking food quickly. Microwaves can be either fitted, built into the kitchen cabinetry or wall, or they can be free-standing, meaning they are standalone units that can be moved.
Refrigerator / Fridge-freezer A refrigerator or fridge-freezer is used for storing perishable food items at a cool temperature. Refrigerators can be either fitted, integrated into the kitchen cabinetry or wall, or they can be free-standing, standalone units.
Freezer A freezer is a standalone appliance used for freezing food items. Freezers are typically free-standing, meaning they are standalone units that can be moved.
Dishwasher A dishwasher is a kitchen appliance used for cleaning dishes and utensils automatically. Dishwashers can be either fitted, integrated into the kitchen cabinetry or under-counter space, or they can be free-standing, standalone units.
Tumble dryer A tumble dryer is a household appliance used for drying clothes quickly. Tumble dryers are typically free-standing, meaning they are standalone units that can be moved.
Washing machine A washing machine is a household appliance used for washing clothes. Washing machines can be either fitted, integrated into the kitchen cabinetry or under-counter space, or they can be free-standing, standalone units.

You need to specify whether it is fitted (integrated into the kitchen structure) or free-standing (standalone and movable). This distinction helps clarify what fixtures and fittings are included in the sale of the property.
