Apartment	An apartment is a self-contained housing unit within a larger building, typically found in urban areas. Apartments can vary in size and layout, ranging from one-bedroom units to spacious multi-bedroom residences. They may feature amenities such as shared common areas, parking facilities, and security services.
Studio	A studio apartment, also known as a bachelor or efficiency apartment, is a compact living space that combines the bedroom, living area, and kitchenette into a single open-concept room. Studio apartments are ideal for individuals or couples seeking a minimalist lifestyle or affordable urban living.
Penthouse	A penthouse is a luxurious apartment located on the top floor of a residential building, offering panoramic views and exclusive amenities. Penthouse apartments often feature spacious layouts, high-end finishes, private terraces or balconies, and premium fixtures and appliances.
Maisonette	A maisonette is a two-story flat with its own private entrance, typically located within a larger building. Maisonettes may be configured with the living spaces on one level and bedrooms on the other, providing a house-like layout with added privacy and independence.
Other types	Other types of flats include: Duplex: A flat spread over two floors, connected by an internal staircase.
