Connections to services refer to the provision of essential utilities and amenities to a property. These connections ensure that the property has access to vital services needed for comfortable living.  


Mains electricity 


Mains electricity refers to the standard electrical power supply provided by the local utility company. 


  • Provider’s name: The name of the electricity provider can typically be found on utility bills or by contacting the local utility company. 
  • Location of meter: The electricity meter is usually located either inside the property, near the entrance, or outside the property, often on an exterior wall. 
  • MPAN number: The Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) is a unique reference number assigned to the electricity supply point. It can usually be found on electricity bills or by contacting the electricity provider. 

Mains gas 


Mains gas refers to the natural gas supply provided by the local utility company.
